God’s wisdom is pure and holy—it cannot dwell where deceit, pride, or injustice rule. To receive His wisdom, our hearts must be open, humble, and sincere, ready to walk in truth.

Wisdom 1:3–4 (NRSV) says:
“For perverse thoughts separate people from God, and when his power is tested, it exposes the foolish; because wisdom will not enter a deceitful soul, or dwell in a body enslaved to sin.”

These verses remind us that wisdom is not merely knowledge—it is a gift from God that requires purity of heart. True wisdom cannot coexist with deceit or selfish ambition. It is nurtured in prayer, obedience, and a heart that seeks God above all else.

Samantha discovered this when she began asking God not just for answers, but for understanding. As she grew in humility and honesty before Him, she found herself guided by a wisdom that brought peace, clarity, and strength to make godly choices.

Reflection:

  • Are there areas in your heart where pride or deceit may be hindering God’s wisdom?

  • What does it mean for you to seek wisdom with sincerity and purity of heart?

  • How can you create space in your life for God’s truth to guide your thoughts and actions?

🙏 Prayer:
Lord, fill me with Your holy wisdom. Cleanse my heart of pride, deceit, and anything that separates me from You. Teach me to walk in truth, humility, and discernment, so that my life may reflect Your light and understanding. Amen.
