God notices the cries of those who trust Him. Even when answers seem delayed, He is attentive to the faithful who persist in prayer and seek justice according to His will.

Luke 18:6 says:
“And the Lord said, ‘Listen to what the unjust judge says.”

This verse comes from the parable of the persistent widow. Jesus highlights that if an unjust judge responds to persistence, how much more will a loving and just God respond to His children who call on Him? Persistence in prayer is an expression of faith, hope, and trust in God’s timing and power.

Isaac experienced this when praying for a family member’s salvation. Days turned into months with no visible change, yet he continued to pray faithfully. Eventually, God worked in ways he could not have orchestrated, answering in His perfect timing.

Reflection:

  • Are you willing to persist in prayer even when answers seem delayed?

  • How does persistence reveal your trust in God’s justice and mercy?

  • What steps can you take to strengthen your faith while waiting on God?

🙏 Prayer:
Lord, help me to pray persistently and trustfully. Strengthen my faith as I wait for Your answers, knowing You hear me and work all things for Your glory. Teach me patience, hope, and unwavering trust in Your timing. Amen.
