Nov. 17, 2025 – Monday – “Faith That Restores”

Luke 18:39–42 says: “Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. When he came near, Jesus asked him, ‘What do you want me to do for you?’ ‘Lord, I want to see,’ he replied. Jesus said to him, ‘Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.’ Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God.”

Jesus responds to genuine faith with compassion and power. Even in situations that seem hopeless, faith opens the door for God to bring restoration and healing.

Luke 18:39–42 says:
“Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. When he came near, Jesus asked him, ‘What do you want me to do for you?’ ‘Lord, I want to see,’ he replied. Jesus said to him, ‘Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.’ Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God.”

The blind man’s persistence and belief illustrate that faith is both active and trusting. When we approach Jesus with honest hearts and sincere needs, He responds in ways that transform our lives.

Anna experienced this when she prayed for clarity in a confusing season of life. She persisted in faith, seeking God’s guidance daily. Over time, doors opened and situations were resolved, reminding her that faith invites God’s restoration.

Reflection:

  • What areas of your life need God’s restoration or healing?

  • How does persistent faith impact the way you approach Jesus?

  • Are you willing to follow Him fully after receiving His provision?

🙏 Prayer:
Lord, increase my faith and help me to approach You with trust and persistence. Restore what is broken in my life, and give me courage to follow You wholeheartedly, praising You for Your power and goodness. Amen.
