Nov. 18, 2025 – Tuesday – “Jesus Sees You”

Luke 19:4–5 says: “So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see him, because Jesus was coming that way. When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, ‘Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today.”

No matter how far we feel from God, Jesus notices us. He meets us in our circumstances, invites us into relationship, and calls us to respond in faith and obedience.

Luke 19:4–5 says:
“So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see him, because Jesus was coming that way. When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, ‘Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today.”

Zacchaeus’ curiosity and persistence led to an encounter with Jesus that changed his life. Jesus saw him not just physically, but also his heart and potential for transformation. Our openness to being seen by Christ invites His grace and guidance into our lives.

Michael reflected on this when he realized he had been hiding aspects of his life from God out of shame. When he brought them honestly before Jesus in prayer, he experienced freedom and a renewed sense of purpose—just as Zacchaeus did.

Reflection:

  • Are there areas of your life where you feel hidden from God or hesitant to be seen?

  • How does it feel to know that Jesus notices and seeks you personally?

  • What steps can you take to respond to His invitation with faith and openness?

🙏 Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for seeing me and knowing my heart. Help me to respond to Your invitation with courage and faith. Transform my life as I open myself fully to Your presence and guidance. Amen.
