Salvation is a gift of grace, freely offered to all who believe in Jesus. Even in our final moments, faith in Christ brings assurance, forgiveness, and eternal life.

Luke 23:43 says:
“Jesus answered him, ‘Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

Jesus spoke these words to the repentant thief on the cross, showing that no one is beyond His mercy. Faith, even expressed in humility and trust at the last moment, is enough to receive the promise of eternal life.

Maria reflected on this verse when witnessing a friend’s last-minute confession of faith. It reminded her that God’s grace knows no bounds, and that His promise of paradise is immediate for those who trust Him sincerely.

Reflection:

  • How does the promise of paradise shape your understanding of faith and grace?

  • Are there areas where you need to trust Jesus for forgiveness and eternal life today?

  • How can this assurance inspire you to share the hope of Christ with others?

🙏 Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for the gift of eternal life through faith in You. Help me to trust Your grace fully, and to live each day with the hope and assurance of being with You in paradise. May I share this hope with others who need Your mercy. Amen.
