God’s kingdom is a feast of grace, joy, and fellowship—an invitation to eternal life with Him. Yet, this invitation must be received with open hearts and willing spirits.
Luke 14:15 says:
“When one of those at the table with him heard this, he said to Jesus, ‘Blessed is the one who will eat at the feast in the kingdom of God.”
These words came as Jesus spoke about humility and compassion, reminding His listeners that God’s kingdom is not limited to the proud or powerful. The banquet of heaven is open to all who respond to His call with faith and humility.
Laura once felt distant from God, believing she wasn’t worthy of His love. But through Scripture and prayer, she came to understand that Jesus’ invitation was for her too. When she accepted that grace, her life filled with new joy and purpose—like being welcomed to a feast she never thought she deserved.
Reflection:
How do you respond to God’s invitation to draw closer to Him?
Are there areas of your life where you hesitate to accept His grace fully?
How can you invite others to experience the joy of God’s kingdom feast?
🙏 Prayer:
Lord, thank You for inviting me to Your table of grace. Help me to accept Your invitation with humility and joy, and to share Your love freely with others. May my life reflect the joy of being part of Your eternal feast. Amen.
