God values faithfulness—not just in great moments of service, but in the small, unseen acts of obedience that reveal a heart devoted to Him.
Luke 16:10 says:
“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.”
Jesus reminds us that integrity begins in the ordinary. How we handle small responsibilities prepares us for greater ones. God watches not only what we do but how we do it—with humility, honesty, and diligence. Every small act of faithfulness is a seed that grows into greater trust and blessing.
Maria learned this truth while serving quietly in her church’s cleaning ministry. Though her work went unnoticed by many, she did it with joy and excellence. Later, she was asked to lead a new outreach program—proof that God honors those who are faithful in the little things.
Reflection:
What “small” responsibilities or opportunities is God calling you to be faithful in today?
How does integrity in the small things prepare you for greater purpose?
In what ways can you serve with a joyful heart, even when no one is watching?
🙏 Prayer:
Lord, help me to be faithful in the little things. Teach me to serve with integrity and joy in every task, trusting that You see and reward what is done in love. May my daily actions honor You and prepare me for what You have ahead. Amen.
