Life can feel heavy sometimes. Burdens, worries, and challenges pile up, and it’s easy to feel like you’re carrying them alone. You try to manage, to figure things out on your own—but deep down, you long for help that only God can give.
Luke 16:25 reminds us:
“But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here, and you are in agony.’”
Mark had been caring for his aging mother while managing a demanding job. Every day felt like a struggle, and he began to feel completely drained and alone. One evening, exhausted and discouraged, he opened his Bible and read Luke 16:25. He prayed, “Lord, I cannot do this alone—please help me.” Within the week, a friend offered to help with caregiving, and Mark found renewed strength and guidance. That moment reminded him that God’s help often comes in quiet, unexpected ways—and that surrender opens the door to His provision.
Reflection:
Where in your life do you feel burdened or in need of God’s help?
Are you willing to surrender control and trust His timing and ways?
How can you open your heart to receive the help only God can provide?
🙏 Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being my helper and comforter. Teach me to trust Your hand in every situation, to surrender my burdens to You, and to walk with confidence knowing You lift me up. Amen.
